Traffic & Safety Studies

 Canwell have undertaken a range of traffic and safety studies for Highway Authorities.

These have included:

• Journey time measurements and analysis, to assist identification of congested route sections –to aid the design and recommendation of mitigation/improvement scheme solutions. 
• Traffic studies for junction performance improvement schemes 
• Traffic studies to assess proposals for one-way/traffic re-routing schemes
• Traffic studies to design and analyse car parking proposal schemes
• Car park studies investigating existing parking routing, capacity vs provision, effects on adjacent      highway network, and recommended highway solutions 
• assessment/report processes for Residents Parking Scheme requests
• Road traffic accident analysis, from individual junctions upwards to whole roadway sectional lengths. Including investigation to identify accident causation and measures to improve      road safety.
• Scheme option appraisals,  to identify the most appropriate solutions.
