Traffic Signal Design

Canwell has a specialist team of Traffic Signal Engineers, we have undertaken design Consultancy work for traffic Signals throughout the UK for over 15 years.

Each member of our team has a minimum of 20 years’ experience and have a wealth of experience working for private and public sector clients.

We carry out a multitude of services relating to traffic signal schemes throughout the UK and on occasions further afield where our international recognition is also increasing.

We have worked within the majority of Highway authorities in the UK, so are well accustomed to the varying practices by different regions. 

Due to this wealth of experience, we have built up a large customer base of mainly small to medium sized consultants, Developers, Contractors and Highway Local Authority clients.

We typically undertake the design for S38/S278 agreements or Capital funded Local Authority schemes. We are also sometimes involved in projects on private land ,where traffic signals are required.

We can offer all the specialist skills needed to implement traffic signal schemes, to ensure effective delivery, whether as stand-alone junction or with coordination as part of larger proposals.
